| Lasers to light open house, start of summer |
|
Two yearly events converge in
late May to energize the traditional start of summer at Crazy Horse Memorial. The 4th “Legends in Light®” laser-light show season will begin at dark on Friday, May 23. Intense laser beams, computer graphics, colored floodlights and music mingle to tell a dramatic visual story on the mountain carving. The season ends on Native American Day, Oct. 13. On Saturday through Monday, May 24-26, folks from the Dakotas, Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana can tour the Memorial for free, in exchange for 3 cans of food for the KOTA Care & Share Food Drive. |
